By downloading, installing, or using Turn Lab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Service Description
Turn Lab is a mobile application that provides ski instruction content including:
- Structured skill progressions
- Mental cues and tips for technique
- Practice drills and checklists
- Links to instructional video content
- Self-assessment tools for tracking progress
This content is provided for educational purposes only.
Safety Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death.
- Turn Lab provides educational content only, not real-time instruction or supervision.
- Always ski within your ability level and under control.
- Follow all posted signs, warnings, and ski patrol instructions.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment including a helmet.
- Be aware of other skiers and snowboarders around you.
- Never ski alone in backcountry or unmarked terrain.
We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained while skiing or snowboarding, regardless of whether you used content from this app.
Intellectual Property
- All app content, including text, graphics, and the skill curriculum, is proprietary to Turn Lab.
- Video content is sourced from third-party YouTube creators and linked externally. These videos are subject to the respective creators' rights and YouTube's terms of service.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercialize any content from Turn Lab without written permission.
In-App Purchases
- Turn Lab offers a one-time premium purchase that unlocks additional content.
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
- Purchases are non-refundable through us. Refund requests must be made through Apple.
- If you delete the app or change devices, you can restore your purchase at no additional cost through the app's settings.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Share or distribute your purchased content to others
- Misrepresent your skill level based on app assessments to ski patrol or others
Disclaimer of Warranties
Turn Lab is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or completeness of the instructional content
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turn Lab and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury or death while skiing
- Property damage
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
